    Australian FIFA World Cup™ striker Adam Taggart has signed a three-year contract with English Championship newcomers Fulham.
    The 21-year-old who top-scored in the A-League with 16 goals for the Newcastle Jets last season, made two appearances at the World Cup in Brazil.
    "I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter in my career with Fulham and working hard to take my game to another level," he said in a statement
    Taggart, who has hit three goals in seven appearances for the Socceroos, was contracted for a third season with the Jets who said he had been granted a release.
    "This move is a fantastic opportunity for Adam to join a club with a proud history in English football and we wish him all the best at Fulham," said Jets chief executive Robbie Middleby.
    Details of the contract with Fulham, who were relegated from the English Premier League last season, were not disclosed.
